Everything else on this site is free and stays that way. This is the one thing that will not be: worksheets and templates for the parts a directory cannot answer for you.
What's in it
- Group budget worksheet: put in your program's real cost and bottle count, split it across however many people are chipping in, see what everyone owes.
- Outreach templates: an individual inquiry, a group or charity framing, and a retailer-of-record ask, ready to copy and send.
- The vetting checklist: what to ask before you commit money. Refund terms if the barrel underperforms, tasting format, whether the bottle count is guaranteed or an estimate.
- Group money tracker: a plain sheet for who paid what and who gets how many bottles when the yield does not split evenly.
- The decision flow: individual, group, or retailer partner, matched against the eligibility tags already on the directory.
Why it costs something
The directory and the guide are a record of what distilleries publish. The Playbook is not that. It is original work product, the tools we wished existed while building the sourced pages. It is not a paywalled version of a fact that is free everywhere else on this site.
